The HTC installation, combined with gasification of the resulting HydroChar and the generation of electricity and heat from the syngas stream, forms a comprehensive energy solution.
The feedstock consists of locally produced organic waste, including sewage sludge. The installation is an integral part of the upcoming GRISCHA Renewable Energy Park.
This initiative aims to demonstrate the potential of renewable energy production while simultaneously reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the overall carbon footprint.
In the future, process control and electricity generation will be managed through the iPLAS platform, enabling full monitoring and visualization of the carbon footprint at every stage of energy production—as well as in livestock and crop operations.
Currently, the HTC facility is being expanded, doubling its production capacity.
